I've been reading somethings recently which gave me the impression that Quantum may be exiting the Bigfoot 5 1/4 form. Did you hear anything like this at COMDEX? Should Quantum drop Bigfoot, they will radically change their offering. How would this change the demand for suppliers? Do Bigfoot drives use an older capacity head? I've just read that Quantum and Sony announced a consumer oriented disk drive at the Western Cable show. Message 6702089 This drive would be for home entertainment, and they are basing it on the Bigfoot. Maybe they aren't dropping the product after all.
