Scotchshield?

mmm.com

asked in the TimeBomb 2000 (Y2000) Q&A Forum

Someone posted something about Scotchshield for coating
windows. I realize that our windows are our most vulnerable
point, and would like to know more about Scotchshield.

Answers

It comes in 3 thicknesses, 1.5 mil, 4 mil, 6 mil.

All of them will make it harder from somebody to break in,
and will keep the window from shattering when hit by a rock
or shotgun blast. Will not stop rifle bullet. If there were a bad
quake or y2k, it might be a long time before a window could
be repaired. Needs to be installed, can be expensive. Does
not provide insulation.

Chuck;

Specifically, www.mmm.com/market/construction, then click
on products, then go down to Division 8 (Doors &
Windows) and select Scotchshield (TM) Safety and Security
Films.

Pretty good products!
