Thanks very much Zeuspaul,

I've been thinking for a long time about setting up my own screenable database of earnings reports. I used to get a version of Dow Jones News via the DTN Satellite company. Their "Earnings News" section delivered the day's earnings reports in column format--it was printable, but not a text file. I was thinking if I could convert it to text and then feed the columns into a spreadsheet I could have a very maleable database from which to find out-of-the-way stocks with earnings momentum. Then select them for a field of stocks to watch for volume increases, etc...

Of course nowadays with the internet craze, that idea is starting to seem a little blase', so I don't know, but I'm definitely going to check out OmniPage.

How about the phone conversation recorder?

Thanks again,
wily
