To all, From the press release: "Given the trend towards globalization in the society and economy, the ideal is to establish a worldwide mobile communications platform based on a single technical standard,'' the companies said in a joint statement" Perry LaForge: "While significant, I would not read too much into today's announcement other than a number of operators are getting worried" Now that we have had a day or so to digest this stuff who still thinks that NTT etc are going for CDMA-2000 and not W-CDMA ? Regards JC. PS. The release that we saw was a Bloomberg report on the release, not the release itself, correct ?
