imho, lots of info about General Magic and it's plans at their web site: genmagic.com You'll find subscription rates there. As for customer retention info, the company has not provided such info. They do hold several patents and have indicated that they are aggressively applying for more on their developed technologies. Microsoft licensed their mobile agent technology patent earlier this year. You can search the IBM patent server for the text of their issued patents. General Magic has announced that 11 carriers are trialing Portico. They recently announced Qwest would start a market trial. They have announced that they are developing MagicTalk as the standard voice user interface for the internet. Their press releases and web site provide a good introduction to what they are doing and planning.
