The 1000 lb. gorilla was a msft story and I couldn't find it again. It showed how fearful they were of Java and how they wanted to get IBM.
It was from a quote from a Disney exec refering to a Msft threat not do do business with Netscape that they had planned or else no IE or Windows.

IBM was #1 in PC sales in Oct.
