Chuzz or anybody... I need a new Dell computer, but mostly I need a new modem. (I have a 56K now). What is a V.90 modem? Is that better than a 56K? I now barely know the difference between ADSL and cable - we have @home out here so Id probably prefer that but it is fairly expensive, can anybody comment on whether its worth it? Because Dell will be offering a deal on ADSL soon, maybe its better to wait for that which is more reasonable? And finally - the next fun computer toy for me will be a flat panel monitor. Right now I have one of Dells 20" trinitron - I highly recommend this, its the most important part of the system imo. But it weighs 50 lbs and the footprint is huge. The flat panels are coming down in price but what is the resolution? I can hardly wait to get one of those from Dell. Michelle
