Off subject last time I post on this thread regarding impeachment, sorry. Hank, or anyone your hatred or love for Clinton should have no bearing on whether the President should be impeached. There was only one issue the House of Representative should of considered and that was: Should an acting President of the United States be impeached for apparently lying under oath in a personal civil lawsuit on questions regarding his personal sex life. That is it period. I don't care if the President at the time happens to be Reagan, Kennedy, Lincoln, Washington or Clinton. I say apparently since you are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law, even though I strongly believed he lied under oath. Everyone should sit back and truthfully answer this question and in no way consider who is the President at the time and if you love or hate the man. If you believe this act and act alone is an impeachable offense I respect your opinion and if you don't I also respect your opinion. This is not a black and white issue, there is a lot of gray here. However, I strongly disagree that it should have anything to do if you like Clinton or not!!!! That was all I asked from my House of Representatives and in my opinion they failed miserably. This particular issue I stated above has nothing to do with party platforms. It was a god dam popularity contest if you like the President you voted against it and if you hated him you voted for impeachment. After watching the House this weekend, I would trust my 2 year old to put in a more inform vote. In my opinion the entire house should resign for utter incompetence. Rory
