Frank. Yes, there are some of those concerned Americans. Some of those concerned Americans say that they want their leaders to talk about Soc.Sec., Retirement etc. I have listened to Mr. Clinton when he came into office. It seems to me that today's White House only talks about Soc.Sec. etc. when elections are at hand or things get tough otherwise. Where have they been when there was a Dem.Congress? All we got out of that was the highest tax increase ever. If you really believe that our stock market would be flourishing the way it is today under a Dem.Congress, I will sell you a castle in the sky.
And yes, we certainly don't want a Russia, USSR is no more, and we certainly don't want another Hitler.
But where is this country coming to when we have a First Lady that is continually announcing that she is totally proud of her husband? Pl. keep THAT private. I think someone needs some help here. I personally find that sick. The way it looks right now: The more you cheat the prouder the wife or husband can be from now on. I have never judged people on their morals. But if you have no morals AND lie under oath when in public office, that's ok, right? Just don't let us little guys do that. Long live our free country. Our soldiers are out there to defend this right. Darn, I am getting sick of this stupid talk. People are watching too much of the TV stations without really listening what is being said. I don't want Saints for my leaders but when asked things under oath, I would like them to be honest. Yes, in politics you will always hear "untruth", just like in private life, but when a leader goes to court and lies, HE IS A LEADER NO MORE. Let him be a PRIVATE citizen again.
There was an Independent Counsel investigating the President. BTW, Republicans wanted to get rid of the Independent Counsel law, but Mr. Clinton had to have it and signed it into law again. It's too bad when you are not in control anymore. Suddenly it's a bad law. I have asked you before: Show me where a Republican has dwelled into the past of another Congressman etc? Most of those sex things have been initiated by Democrats or the liberal women's movement. Bob Packwood, Clarence Thomas, deceased Tower etc. Get the picture? Problem is that the Republicans don't have quite the smear machine.
Frank. Isn't it odd that you can only find posts of people against impeachment? I would wager that there are 10 to 1 on SI for it.
