<<it could go either way. I agree. >>

That's all I've been saying.

I should hope so, I was quoting you.

I like the signs. I see many positives..

Every one of which is highly debatable as to its significance. I'll give a quick one-liner of the standard counterargument.

1.carriage agreement with Insight
At no cost to Insight
2.deal with opentv
Same as every other program guide; minimal or no cost to OpenTV
3.deal with diva
See #2
4.testing with aol/digitalcities
Token amount of HTML from DC, probably funded entirely by SRCM
5.alot of attention at cable show
To the fact that their software crashes
6.EPG
All they have are #2 and #3
7.patents
For obsolete tech
8.leveraging of sales of IT Network
A rewarmed version of the free-phone info services of the 80's

I can understand your thinking to an extent; with all of these balls in the air, what are the chances that every one of them goes bust?

But consider: Even if #1 bears fruit, it won't come soon enough. #2 and #3 still leave SRCM with the onus of actually getting cable operators to accept their program guide (FYI, I have verified this directly with Ms. Montes of OpenTV). Besides which (#6), every digital cable and satellite service I've seen already have program guides and they're not Source Media's. #7 is apparently a matter for the courts, that too may be dragged out past SRCM's ability to contest. #5 is subjective. And as for #4 and #8, and this is one of my biggest questions about SRCM in general, what exactly is it that I am supposed to be impressed by? Association with a big name? Hey, I've gotten two sites listed on Yahoo! and I'm not worth $100 million. What has SRCM done that I haven't?

The other thing, which you kind of glossed over, was the implication that Source Media's Interactive Channel was on equal footing with WebTV, Oracle, WorldGate, whatever AOL comes up with, etc. Are you making the claim that the IC is just as likely to succeed as all of these heavily funded titans?

I already am a winner regardless of what happens with this stock.

Well then I guess we're all winners. Here's to us.

In any case, duly noted that I called your celebration of the short-term price movements. I can tell you once and a hundred times that these are of no concern to me, but you still act as if they do. The only price that matters, only price mind you, is the price at which I eventually cover. This can go to 100, but if it goes back to single digits by the time I cover, I win. Just remember that. This stock has collapsed 90% before. I'm betting it can do at least 60% again.
