Merritt, re: platinum, Rolex is now making a platinum Oyster, it looks much like the "run-of-the-mill" brushed steel Oyster but platinum is a little lighter color and less blue-grey, more silver-gold. It is for people who don't want to be ostentatious. If you know what it is, you can spot it instantly. If you don't know, well, you're not in the know. I wonder if it is less likely than gold to attract the attention of muggers. I assume so.
Re: timing of the bombing. There is an old saying, once is an accident, twice is coincidence, three times is enemy action. But, in this case, the timing of the begining and end are just too coincident to be a coincidence. Announcing the end of the bombing an hour after completion of the vote? Come on. |
