KKurt, here's an interesting development with Starfish, a General Magic partner (which is now owned by Motorola). It shows some interesting developments with Yahoo. Sure would seem like a Magic Talk VUI would be a cool addition.

YAHOO! USERS CAN NOW SYNCHRONIZE YAHOO! CALENDAR, TO DO LISTS AND ADDRESS BOOK FROM DESKTOP TO DEVICE WITH TRUESYNC PLUS FOR YAHOO! FROM STARFISH
Yahoo! and Starfish Make Syncing Easy with TrueSync Plus for Yahoo!

SANTA CLARA & SCOTTS VALLEY, Calif. - Dec. 15, 1998 - Yahoo! Inc. (NASDAQ:YHOO), and Starfish Software Inc., a leading supplier of customized solutions for the connected information device market, today introduced a beta version of TrueSync Plus for Yahoo!, a free synchronization solution that allows users of Yahoo! Calendar (http://calendar.yahoo.com), and Yahoo! Address Book (http://address.yahoo.com), and Yahoo! To Do List to enter data once and access their information from Internet-connected computer and devices. TrueSync Plus for Yahoo!, powered by Starfish's patented TrueSync technology, enables users to synchronize their Yahoo!® online calendar and address book information to Microsoft Outlook and 3Com Palm devices (Palm Pilot Professional Edition, Palm III and Palm Desktop) with the click of a key.

"Yahoo! is committed to enhancing the Internet experience by providing users with value added features that allow them to conveniently access personal information and e-mail from one central location on the Web," said Tim Brady, vice president of production and executive producer at Yahoo! Inc, a leading global Internet media company. "With TrueSync Plus for Yahoo!, users can now maximize their productivity on the road, at home or in the office with one-click synchronization capabilities for up-to-date schedule and contact information," Brady added.

"Starfish's founding vision is to develop solutions enabling the global synchronization of information at every level, including server, desktop and device," said Philippe Kahn, president and CEO of Starfish. "TrueSync Plus for Yahoo! brings us closer to fulfilling that vision by bringing anytime, anywhere synchronization capabilities to the vast number of Yahoo! users who must transfer information from their online calendar and address book to their desktop and devices quickly and reliably."

Stay Up-to-Date Everywhere in the World

With TrueSync Plus for Yahoo!, mobile users can easily access, update and synchronize their schedule, address book and to-do lists while at work, at home or traveling. Unlike simply exporting and importing data from one data source to another, TrueSync Plus for Yahoo! recognizes new information across devices, PIM applications and servers and updates all sources simultaneously. For example, if separate scheduling changes are made in a user's Yahoo! Calendar, Microsoft Outlook and Palm handheld devices, TrueSync Plus for Yahoo! can recognize the new changes and incorporate them across data sources so that information is always up-to-date and synchronized on all of the devices and programs being used. TrueSync also detects duplicate information and gives users the option to manually or automatically resolve the duplication.

Easy One-Click Synchronization

TrueSync Plus for Yahoo! is built upon the TrueSync Technology Platform, Starfish's suite of desktop, server and device components designed to enable the seamless synchronization of information at all levels. Using TrueSync Plus for Yahoo! is easy: after downloading the free synchronization software from Yahoo! Calendar or Yahoo! Address Book, users simply set up their individual preferences for Microsoft Outlook and/or Palm devices. Then, with a single click on the TrueSync icon on the user desktop or on the sync button on the Pilot cradle, their information syncs instantly with their Yahoo! Calendar, Yahoo! Address Book, Yahoo! To Do List, Outlook and Palm device. Individuals no longer need to repeatedly enter addresses or appointments into multiple programs or devices - enter the information once and TrueSync Plus for Yahoo! will synchronize the information across multiple data sources. A beta version of TrueSync Plus for Yahoo! is available to registered Yahoo! users for download today from Yahoo! Calendar, Yahoo! Address Book and Yahoo! To Do List.

Maps (http://maps.yahoo.com). Users can easily search, browse and categorize contacts as well as conveniently send e-mail directly from their address book. Yahoo!
