Roger,

I don't think that the Senate trial will be finished within one day. The Republicans should have know that they are doomed for the year 2000 elections and will try their best to humiliate the president and Democrats. Sure that will only serve to backfire them more...but when a party is determined to commit suicide, there is no way that anyone can save its life. It's not that far fetched to compare the Republicans with ZITL.
