The loan company, First Security Capital LLC, of Charleston, S.C., was
offering a somewhat unusual means to tap the paper value of his stock
portfolio, without selling stocks, triggering margin calls or paying capital
gains taxes.

There are no documents regarding First Security on file with the U.S.
Securities and Exchange Commission. However, the Securities Division of
the South Carolina Attorney General's office is currently investigating the
company's operations. As a matter of policy, the attorney general's office
would not comment on its investigation.....
