Cringe - Re: "Why else would AMD make K6-3 engineering samples designed to run in desktops if they didn't plan for it to run in desktops " When they ship in Desktops, we'll see a 44% increase in costs for AMD (81 sq. mm K6-2 to 117 sq. mm for K6-3). AMD may not be in any hurry to get these into the sub $1000 PC market. Which may explain why it's late. Paul
