Eagle Capital International, Ltd. Announces Acquisition and Funding Agreement SALT LAKE CITY--(BUSINESS WIRE)--December 21, 1998--Eagle Capital International, Ltd. (OTCBB: ECIC - news) has signed an agreement to acquire a controlling interest in Great Wall New Building Systems, Inc., a joint venture based in China which employs the block system patented by Integrated Masonry Systems, Ltd. (IMSI). IMSI's wall system has already been used to build several high-rise apartment complexes in Harbin, a city in the industrial heartland of China. Great Wall, a joint venture company partnering with IMSI to develop the Chinese market for the IMSI wall system and other products, began operation in China in early 1998 and has staff and key personnel in place there. The IMSI system has also been used in over 1,000 buildings in the US during the past 12 years. Great Wall is in the final stages of negotiating agreements with 5 major cities in China to supply block for government sponsored building projects. Eagle has also signed an equity funding agreement for a minimum of $600,000 to be delivered on a regular basis over the next 60 days. Funds will be used for operational development and to purchase capital assets such as mobile block plants for joint venture projects.
