Vitas - the word was 'bemused' -- read the mail! As for the rest - about humanity etc., I can only say - tell that to the 'collaterlly damaged' (interesting you are worried about scratches to your own troops, but ignore death and destruction to others) , or the victims of sanctions in Cuba and Iraq , and wonder what on earth you mean by 'last remaining belligerent countries' - the trouble with trying to be policeman to the world is that you can't cover all the bases, and the # of belligerent countries seems to have been something of a constant in this century.
