Gary, Geek, Tyler and All, I hate to pollute this thread with an off subject... BUT... Would all of you take a look at Acxiom symbol ACXM and if you can find the time post your thoughts on the ACXM thread which has just recently been started? Acxiom has just been rated 38th out of the 100 best growth companies in the nation by Financial World Magazine. It's stock split 3 for 2 in 03/86, 2 for 1 in 12/92, 2 for 1 in 01/95 and 2 for 1 in 11/96. There are now approximately 51,000,000 shares outstanding. It's most recent post split high was about three weeks ago closing at 24 3/4. It closed today at 16 3/4 up 1/2 on volume of 1,049,300 shares. In it's most recent 3rd quarter ending December 31st, earnings were righ on analyst mean estimate of .15 per share. I think the market was expecting Acxiom to exceed analyst estimates and when they didn't the market over reacted with a sell-off causing the recent price decline. Comments will be greatly appreciated...Best regards, Mike |
