The main problem is that we are in a situation very similar to the Japanese in the 1980's. Unless the Federal reserve has the courage to poke this bubble, we are headed in exactly the same direction. Japan stock market peaked in 1990 at insane level. After 8 years, it is still only less than half what it was in 1990. The baby bust generation will again pay for the wrongs done to them for a long time on top of the disappearing of social security. What a tragedy!
