Maybe Dell smartened up and made their newer systems one piece. I bought my Dell 14 months ago and the side and bezel are separate parts. If you think about it, presuming a build up of enough dust eventually causes a problem, maybe Dell figured it was in everyone's best interest to make the bezel and side one piece to help avoid problems. My 3 year old Compaq was three parts; two sides and the bezel.
