FYI to all, ACTV mentioned in SMART TV Magazine- Speaking about cable's second wind "When the fat pipe reaches the TV in force, along with @home and Roadrunner some of the leading broadband content and service providers vying for eyeballs will include ICTV, ACTV and the Interactive Channel. The cable companies will strike partnerships with one or more of these providers to provide custom, localized interface and content selections based on area demographics and customer preferences. It remains to be seen who really ends up delivering what, and when it happens. When the dust settles, whichever companies are left standing will reap the rewards."
Also "Brian Hurst, President of Tandem Intermedia, a new media strategic planning firm, says that viewers are particularly interested in interactive sports, news, edutainment, commerce, and game content." Sounds good for ACTV! |
