Bottom line you lose. Clinton doesn't resign, republican controlled senate does not kick him out. In 20 years people will know as much about Clinton as they did about Johnson before this mess. We have seen for the first time in 40 years the venom of the right, McCarthyism at it's worst. As I grow older I ask myself this are these "compassionate" right wingers the ones I want meteing out decisions on my healthcare, social security et al NOT. As the good people of La used to say sure Huey Long's a crook but he steals for us. That my friend is the human condition always was since Washington and Jefferson snuck down to the slave quarters, the kings of Egypt killed for power, early caveman killed for survival til now.
