I don't think the big move in MSFT has happened yet. It is a general technology rally. I expect MSFT to outperform the box makers, telecoms, other software companies. However, MSFT does not have a chance against internet company gains but I unwilling to speculate on these stocks. I would rather try options on MSFT. I just hope that they announce earnings on Monday of the week they are expected. In this way, they will announce just one day after the expiration of Jan options, which would mean a bigger pop just before expiration.
