My meeting with Command on Friday was decidedly positive. I met separately with COO/CFO, Steve Wilcox (2 1/2 hrs) and CEO, Ed Caputo (1 hr)....I found both Steve and Ed to be very personable, straight forward and open in discussing operational results as well as past and future challenges. The substance of our discussions focused primarily on clarifying details and comments contained in SEC filings which are already within the realm of public domain. Both Steve and Ed were predictably cautious whenever the discussion began approaching the boundaries of new territory. The separate meetings allowed me the opportunity to get independent responses from both Steve and Ed to some of the more sensitive issues. Their comments and responses revealed no disparity of viewpoint. The overall tone from both Ed and Steve was upbeat and radiated confidence and optimism for the future prospects of the company. Instrumental to the climate of optimism is the tentative settlement of the class action litigation. Ed stated that the shareholder litigation was like a dark cloud hovering over Command, casting a bleak shadow in the minds new as well as existing customers.....A concern that was frequently raised and expressed during the project bid process. The cloud of concern now lifted should act as a springboard for obtaining wins in a number of existing bids in process....In fact, success on that front is already being achieved. Although void of specifics Ed did mention that successful contract wins were completed within the past couple of weeks. I sensed from both Steve and particularly from Ed a sense of relief and a feeling of momentum as Command enters into the new year. Best Regards, JAB
