Hell, i don't think the average investor can understand the MARKET, let alone a particular sector. I am only now beginning to understand why YHOO! is the price it is, and i tend to agree with it. DELL IBM GWAY also. AOL too. But AMZN ??? i'm lost. Bio_techs: i think you have to have a great (and i mean GREAT) understanding as to what each of these companies are doing (which i do NOT), and what the competition is doing (which i do not). I ask every pharmacist i see, if he/she could buy into one drug company, which one would it be, and ALL 8 Pharmacists have said the same one. Me ? someone turned me on to ICOS, i owned it, and should have bought back in. It is run by George Rathmann, the founder of AMGEN, and Bill Gates (yuk!) owns 15% of ICOS. but who knows ?? |
