Salomon discloses top global stock picks for '97
NEW YORK, Jan 21 (Reuter) - Salomon Brothers said Tuesday it was releasing a list of top global picks for 1997, 119
stocks in the United States, Europe, Asia-Pacific, Japan, Korea and Latin America.
The picks are listed in a 305-page report, "The Best the World Has to Offer: Our Top Global Stock Picks for 1997."
Among U.S. consumer cyclical stocks, it named General Motors Corp and Federal-Mogul Corp .
Among technology issues, International Business Machines Corp ; Xerox Corp ; First Data Corp ; Cisco Systems Inc ; and
America Online Inc .
Among healthcare, Centocor Inc; Cardinal Health Inc ; and Rhone-Poulenc Rorer Inc .
