Grayhairs -

"The Peters & Co Research Report that you have on your site includes a schematic that shows a "Speculated Ruptured Zone" in the production liner at about 12,000 feet in the MacDonald Shale.

Can you comment as to what it is that hints at the speculated rupture at that approximate depth ??"

>> I believe the concept of a rupture at that level had was inspired by the elbow in the casing that was incurred after sidetracking the well. From what I understand, that much flow would have the ability to 'sand blast' a hole in the casing after being subjected to the gas expanding up the hole - any point in the casing that had much of a bend would be suspect.

"Also, can you advise whether the Monterey Formation penetrated by ELH #1 appeared porous and wet on logs ??"

No logs. Too much pressure, not enough time. The decision to case came at a good time with too much risk to run logs. I would be surprised if the porosity wasn't very good... Your question about the water I can't answer.
