A couple of more years like this and I'l quit the day job
Yeah, I guess when you double it is a two bagger, if so, I just hit it, but the market will probably pull back a little. I had my best year ever in my business, (I am a home improvement contractor), but did twice as well in the market. When you run your own business, and it's fun, you don't quit. To me, the purpose of life is achievement, and I took my business from nothing in 1992 to 750K gross this year. I fly around the country every 6 weeks for dance weekends, my real joy in life, and business makes it possible. The bucks in the market will be there when I can't work and dance. But hopefully, that's a long time yet. I am 64, and I am going back to D.C. for my mentor in dance, Frankie Manning's, 85th birthday in May, and he is still throwing his partners over his head!
