Golly, I sure know how to pick a top. I said that 325 might be the top sometime in January. Perhaps only off by about a month!!! Heck by mid- January AMZN might be 400, no maybe 500. I think they need to announce another split since after the current 3 for 1 it will still be over 100.
For me I will stick to ZITL and sit on the sidelines watching the Internet stocks. Actually, in a way I am playing the Internet in a different way. Like the gold rush where the sellers of pick axes and maps made the money. My core stocks (all long) that I have not touched this year include:
CPQ, MSFT, INTL, CSCO, EMC, HWP. I am thinking of adding FDX since all these e-commerce purchases need to be delivered. The Internet needs networking equipment, places to store all the data, chips to make the computers, and a couple of box makers for the millions of new users. This is the Internet version of pick axes and maps.
I also have a few core drug stocks, couple of banks (ugh!) and GE, always a good conservative and good performing stock.
