FYI, Ameritrade finally got back to me two weeks later and improved my execution price from $50 to $58 7/8 for my market sell of ONSL on November 30th. Sounds to me like an implicit admission that there was something wrong with the execution. I also learned that the order was received by their system at 10:05am, while ONSL was still trading above 90. The market maker, NITE, send back an order execution notice to Ameritrade at 10:26am, fully 21 minutes later. Any opinions as to whether and how I can ask for further investigation into the trade by the infamous NITE?
