Now penni, everyone who knows me offline thinks I have inestimable charm and, yes, grace. My apologies in excelsis deo, Alexa.

I tried being contemplative once or twice but it doesn't seem to get much of a response. Talked about my problems in previous relationships not once but twice and that got by default (thunderous silence) something of a "booooring..." from my Feelies companions. The biggest response I got was my methodology for keeping doggies from leaving their leavings on my rhododendrons. Second biggest was recipe for french fried scorpions, moose nose et. al. But I'll keep trying--

I leave Sunday 26th, return Sat 1 Feb, 2 nights in Kuala Lumpur, 2 nights in Bangkok. This is my second Asia trip in the last month or so and perhaps it sounds more exotic than it really is, as I spend about 60 hours on planes and in transit during 6-night period. I don't usually have any time to look around other than to see the innards of a Bangkok traffic jam (they're so bad that the latest thing is these little porta-potties that you can take in the car with you, I have not yet had the pleasure). I also work for a Japanese-HQ company and they are notorious late night partyers, I can't really avoid it so I'm usually maximally cratered by the time I get back.
