50K Dan, As I recall, the 50K sale came not only on a downtick, but on a downdraft in the bid-ask. In fact, it came way out of nowhere. The 1/8th low of the day must have been taken at very low volume. If I were doing studies of this at home, I'd be tempted to throw it out and use today's 5/32 as the beginning of an uptrend! Good luck. Joined you in the average-down dept., at 5/16, two minutes before the close. When the bid dropped to 1/8 at the close, I actually invoked the MM's birth-giver aloud in an epithet best not repeated. Ivan
