Company Press Release

Generation Entertainment Becomes
Amazon Associate

Company's Web Site to Earn from Amazon Alliance

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 21, 1998--Generation Entertainment Corp.
(OTC BB:GNEN) Monday announced that Amazon.com has accepted the company as an
''Associate.''

It means that Generation Entertainment's newly acquired web site, CDMusic.com, will be able to
provide direct access to Amazon's inventory and will be compensated for a percentage of the sale.

Amazon.com is acknowledged to be the largest on-line provider of books and, perhaps, the largest
seller of books worldwide.

As part of the Amazon.com Associates Program, CDMusic.com will prominently display the
Amazon.com logo. In turn, Amazon will publish a linked message identifying CDMusic.com as an
Associate and endorsing its services. The message will also encourage visits to the CDMusic.com
site to shop for quality products, with a guarantee of the same high level of customer service that
Amazon.com provides.

In the process of becoming an Associate with Amazon.com, Generation Entertainment had to show
that the site would be operated in such a manner as to earn the Amazon endorsement.

Following acquisition of CDMusic.com, Generation Entertainment immediately began an intensive
program of overhauling the site to give it all the attributes Amazon.com required, and then some.
The site is set to debut under Generation Entertainment ownership early in the first quarter of 1999.
It will include powerful search engine capability to assist visitors in browsing for music, books and
videos.

''Becoming an Amazon.com Associate is a major step for our new web site,'' said Generation
Entertainment President Warren Guth.

''We are extremely happy that the Amazon people had the confidence in us to award that status,''
Guth said.

He also noted that the alliance with Amazon.com will conserve on the resources CDMusic.com will
need to run at full strength and profitability.

Generation Entertainment already owns two record labels, has promotional agreements with others
and is in the process of acquiring yet another successful label, Slipdisk-2K. That company's senior
partner, David Chackler, will add his 30 years of experience in the record business to Generation's
already impressive management team.

The legendary Bill Craig heads up the music division with his long history of promoting major stars.

Forward-looking statements in this release are made pursuant to the ''Safe Harbor'' provisions of
the Private Securities Litigation Reform Act of 1995.

Investors are cautioned that such forward-looking statements involve risks and uncertainties,
including, without limitation, continued acceptance of the company's products, increased levels of
competition for the company, new products and technological change, the company's dependence
upon third-party suppliers, intellectual property rights and other risk detailed from time to time in the
company's periodic reports filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
