Pat. I have not shorted AMTX and really don't know how it works.
But the trading pattern in the past few days has been quite intriquing.
Last week AMTX was stuck at $12. When it jumped by a 1/8 or 1/4
someone would sell it back down. It happend so many times I
thought someone's life was depended on it. And I been have buying at
15, 14, 13 and finally at 12 on friday expecting the battle would
end. Yesterday, the same pattern continued until the DSLAM
news release, but whoever it was tried on two or three occasions to
bring it down. The momentum was too strong and I thought they
ran out of amunition. But this morning they came out swinging and
sold it back down again. Your posting about this Sherwood wholesaler
cleared things up and I thought the news release was timed to give
them a jolt.

After reading the DSLAM new release, I realised that it is a very
well designed product and it is better than Sourcecom and other
DSLAMs. I have no doubt that it will find a lot of buyers and I
have revised my revenue estimate accordingly.

I would like to see the rumour about LU and DMT to come true.
The stage was set when Nortel annuonced their intention to
use QAM. LU can be a follower (unlikely) and pick QAM or a
leader (very likely) and pick DMT.

Regards

Louie
