MM, My guess is that the selloff this afternoon was the first stringers calling the bench warmers on the phone and telling them they could do whatever they want. Just don't go home tonight net long or short. <G>

I had a boss who did something like that to me in August of 1982. he went on vacation and left me his portfolio, which was the biggest at the company. I asked him what he wanted me to do, and he said to do what I would do if it was my portfolio. But be ready to explain it when he got back. He was 60% cash at the time. I bought everything but the kitchen sink. When he returned he was 5% cash. Instead of saying, great job buying at the absolute bottom of a bear market, he asked me why I didn't invest the other 5%. <G>
