I am trying to guess when this correction in internet stocks would take place. My guess is that it won't be for at least a month as there should be a good surge in the rest of the market as well (too much momentum). Only when the market starts dropping like this past September and October, would we see such a correction in these stocks. However, as we witnessed, the individual investors are getting more and more confident and will probably buy on the dips--causing the dips to be of a shorter duration especially in the large tech stocks.
As i see it, that is the best time to get into call options (i did in Oct) with expiration dates about 2 to 4 months away.
I might be unloading some January calls options if we see another surge in MSFT in the next week or so -- moving into the stock itself. If we don't see a surge, I am looking into buying way out of the money January calls. I hoping to capitalize on either scenario. Hopefully there won't be any unforeseen third scenario.
