Whisper campaign What I have noticed in usenet postings is the number of people dissatisfied with the Jazz product's durability. Only Jazz drives made by other manufacturers are recommended. It seems like early indication is the Syjet is optimally better than the Jazz as expected. As to long term reliability another year is required. Even if the Jazz goes to 2 GB, people want reliability, speed, and performance. There was all this talk about Zip going to 200MB which never materialized. I suspect if it did it would make Zip harder to become a standard. The Jazz drives should meet with some compeition from Syjet, especially if it gets good reviews.
