If DELL continues upward, and breaks 100 before earnings are announced, then there's a fairly good chance that they'll announce a split along with earnings. If it languishes below $100 or the earnings are not quite as good as expected, they could hold off.

In either case, I'd expect it to be announced along with earnings. February or May.
