Victor and Elwood, I am certainly no genuis when it comes to stocks, but I think the question is one of style and confidence. For me, personally, I do not think I will be able to time it just right. I would love to sell on the rise and buy on the dip, but I have no idea when those are coming until after they have passed me by. Some seem to have a good handle on this and can do it for good profit. More power to them. So, Elwood, the question for you is what do you feel confident doing? Can you time it? And sleep well? Because a sleepy investor will miss the opportunity.

I think CPQ is going to have a great year. DEC/Tandem integration creates a new and expanded business horizon. Increased spending for Y2K and most importantly a scrutinized bottom line. They burned themselves and their investors badly over the last 18 months by stumbling. I am betting they won't let that happen again...Well at least not any time soon.

Soooo, I am not going to sell. I am going to add to my position as my meager salary allows and will be very happy with my 100% gain on CPQ in the year of our lord 99.<GGGGGG>

Happy Holidays and happy Investing.
