The statistics support earlier claims of the New Economy. Nearly one-third of online households made a "Net" purchase in the last six months, up 50% from a year ago. Those who didn't buy online used the Net to help make a purchase decision according to Odessey. Businesses will exchange an estimated $17 Billion in goods and services this year over the net.
