"You got it right regarding the split. The split (100% dividend) is based on what you own as of 12/28 and will be paid out on 1/11." Wrong. The extra stock goes to everyone who owns CMGI at the close of business on 1/11. Then it goes ex on 1/12 according to Yahoo. The record date does not mean anything.
