This sector is disorderly. That's just the way it is. However, as far as your forecast of a big drop eventually, that's one thing you can pretty much count on sooner or later in this sector. However, forecasting one when the industry is in the early stages of recovery is really going out on a limb, and ignores the lessons of history. If bookings growth stalls out, or if the market as a whole has a big drop, then I could see it, but otherwise I would not bet good money on such a scenario.

BTW, just for the record, I do not recommend that people invest a lot of money into AMAT or NVLS at this time, since they have run up so fast. My basic recommendation would be a hold. There are other members of the sector which seem to represent better value.
