Ron - Set my computer clock to 12-31-1999 and let 01-01-2000 occur and found that I could operate as normal. Does anyone know if this is a valid test? It's ONE test that shows how the clock works. You've also got to look at the applications that you use. If you depend upon any sort of business oriented application (like accounting, inventory, subscriptions, renewals, etc.) that look into the future & past, then you'd better dig deeper than just the clock. If you're still blissfully running Quicken v1.0, now's a great time to upgrade. Do keep in mind that (assuming you actually depend on the computer form something greater than word processing) that the hardware & operating system are just two components. - David
