Jim, I can't help but remembering the presentation Dr. Hofbauer did at the TRBD annual mtg. in Santa Barbara in September. He was the typical engineer presenting, a lot of engineering 'yada, yada'...then he suddenly said something like, "After realizing that our (the engineers he was working with at the time at VW) engine design was so efficient that it did not even waste enough energy to produce heat for the passenger compartment of the vehicle, we knew we had to solve a major problem." (for the folks who live in Southern California, this may have been missed, but for the rest of us who know what the heat in the passenger compartment of the car means in winters like we have, well....) The whole audience at the presentation burst into laughter. Here is the Chief Engineer of Turbodyne, turning from technical talk, to simple, physical, real problems that we now could understand. THE TURBODYNE SYSTEM BECAME REAL TO US. IT SOLVED A REAL PROBLEM, ....HEATING THE INSIDE OF THE CAR. But, the technical aspect of this problem, and the solution of the Turbodyne system were the machinations of Dr. Holbauer's career for some time, obviously.
I don't know if this experience makes any sense to you, the investor, but it sure makes me think.....today's news was breakthrough, IMO.
