Drill Permit Application made for Chinchaga Diamond Project
December 22, 1998 -- Marum Resources Inc. reports that it has
filed an application for drill permits on selected targets in the
Chinchaga area of northwestern Alberta. The permit application
specifies one stand alone drill target and targets in two nearby
anomaly clusters. Up to ten targets will be drilled under the current
application, with drilling operations planned for mid-January.
Advanced discussions are currently underway with a joint venture
partner to finance the drilling program that will take place in an
area of magnetic, geochemical and seismic interest.
Due to the magnitude of the commitments required
by its large and prospective diamond exploration land base in
Alberta, Marum has terminated or intends to terminate all
exploration activities and involvement with diamond exploration
in Quebec and gold exploration in Arizona.

High priority drill targets across different anomaly clusters
(including the now famous, surface drilled Target 7, see above
graphic link), stacked/ co-incident indicator data (airmags, seismic,
sample geochems, etc), previous drill results data, new JV partner and
finance deal(s) imminent, an even more focused program,
full-bore drilling underway shortly, excellent staff, etc etc.
Sounds like a recipe to moi!
