It's really starting to look as if gold has become simply another resource such as silver and copper. International uncertainty seems to have little effect on gold price anymore. Does anyone out there see any factors that may buoy gold's price in 1999? The fabled 1000 ton/year deficit between gold production and gold demand seems to be in fact a fable. MGR apparently has a small cash flow from renting out its bulldozer, but I wonder how long it and other junior resource companies can withstand the ongoing bleak picture for gold's future.
