Peter, although there has been a lack of news announcements from the company, USA is in a period of sustained business. They haven't announced any new AmeriSuites-type deals yet, but rather, orders keep rolling in, and if you think about it, I'd rather have strong sustained business rather then a large order from time-to-time. Of course, both would be great...and there ARE plenty of things going on behind the scenes. Plenty of news on the horizon, but could be a little bit of time before it can be announced.
As far as the quarter, I don't believe I am giving away the farm when I say that this quarter (Q2 '99) ending 12/31 will easily be USTT's best in its history. Revenues for the entire 1998 fiscal year were approximately $1.8 million, and 2nd quarter revenues alone COULD/SHOULD/MIGHT (that means there are no guarantees) be right around that amount. Numbers probably won't be reported until end of Jan/early Feb., but I am guessing that there will be some news annoucements before then. |
