Charles ref the "Does that really seem reasonable to you?" on ed's take of the price of MSFT in 2001.

I think ed is right on target. MSFT in the next year to year and a half is about to begin a new upgrade cycle that will serve to power the entire computer industry. When NT5/Win2000 and the new Office suite and back office suite and others hit the market, look for the growth rate not to be 30% but to spike somewhere between 50-65% top line earnings growth. By the way, your post didn't even consider internet related profits.
