I too am appalled at how many people out there are finding this to be fun and games, all the while calling THEMSELVES the good and decent people of this country. This is getting more and more bizarre. I have mentioned Reagan's crimes and responsibility for the deaths of thousands of Central Americans and simply been called a Communist for saying such (I've been getting a fair bit of hate mail). I mention homelessness and see that people respond as if I simply made it up. Anyone walked downtown in big cities lately?

The fact is that there are a heartbreaking number of people out there who simply DO NOT CARE. They care about the details of Clinton's sex life. They care about the inadequacy of their own participations in life. But as for what is good for the country (as opposed to their OWN good), they simply don't care. It doesn't look so good to say, "I don't give a damn," so instead you say, "Lie. Prove it. Can you document the homelessness."

The total situation is worse than sad; it is a mirror of a downhill slide.

And yet again, I would remind many of these posters that those of us opposed to this impeachment do NOT support perjury or sexual recklessness. Not at all. You simply DO NOT GET IT.
