Thanks for sharing your input about your own family.

In my family there are three generations which have had RA. My daughter's grandmother got it after giving birth when she was 29. The grandmother lived most of her life as an invaid---there was no effective treatment of any kind then.

The second family member was able to live a productive life---with gold shots being the key to keeping it in remission. This person died with leukemia. Irony was that the RA had gone into remission when the leukemia became acute.

My daughter has now been diagnosed with lupus----not RA. She is philosophical about it, is on naprosyn and has an enjoyable and productive life.

From the other side of the family----I had a brother who had MS which was not diagnosed until it was in an advanced stage. He functioned with all of the symptoms and untreated. He collapsed teaching his math class was taken to University doctors who diagnosed the MS. He died a year later at Christmas time with a heart attack.

So, this is why I invest in stocks like IMNR. I am altruistic in the sense I would like to see a cure for these diseases. Also, want to assure that there is enough money to take care of my daughter in her life.

Her Grandfather did this for her Grandmother----enabling her to have the personal care she needed.

Plus I enjoy making and spending money.

As I celebrate Christmas I wish the peace of this special season for you and your family. And, some prayers for the researchers at IMNR and other companies who are working on these diseases.
